Have you seen the video of 100 years of East London style? It's really lovely (I adore the look on 0:25)!
Also, did you notice how the guy disappears for a second in a train station, in the 1940's when he goes off to war :)?

Robbie Williams, my soooooooooooooooooo beloved singer since I was a teenager, is blogging about his experiences on his official site! I used to read it, because I'm so curious, even  if I don't listen to his music as often as I used to do. But I think what he writes is really nice & sincere, so it's interesting to read it.
