blue nails.

photo via into the gloss
I bought some nail polish for my sister as a one part of the present from Germany, the three colors - wine red, light pink, almost white and dark sky blue with a little glittering.
And I tried this blue myself and now I'm like obsessed with blue nails! I think it looks so charming and sexy, don't you think?
I always adored wearing black nails, but now I think it might be the time for dark dark blue:)
Dark nails looks always somehow a bit challenging and extraordinary. But it also very depends on what clothes do you wear. And this is what I love about them:)
I'm curious - would you wear it?

What you've been listening lately?
I'm not really a fan of urban music, but I discovered some very nice tracks on this wall of most influential Soundcloud tracks 2011.
Here's my favorites:
One of the secrets not to get winter blues is a good music.

Enjoy!

P. S. a lovely headphones print:) (via Spoon flower)

all you can't leave behind.

photo via Pinterest
There were many goodbyes in my life.
For old childhood friends, whom I never did want to say goodbye, for funny school times that meant new beginnings, for torn favorite bright blue jacket that I loved so much, for issued lovers, for old apartments, .. and there was always something that I just couldn't leave behind.
And now once again the same.
The only baggage you can bring is all that you can't leave behind.
And this time I feel very clearly that I took too much with me and I've got to leave some things behind.
So now I know the only way out is to drop it and walk on.

Inspiration Monday.

I'm home I'm home I'm home!!!!!!!
I'm sooooooooooo happy, you can not imagine!!!!!!!!!
Although it's absolutely freezing outside, now I love to freeze, as long as I'm freezing in my lovely Lithuania, it's where my heart belongs and that's that:)
So today for Monday inspiration I want to share something really Lithuanian to celebrate my return.
The first thing that comes into my mind is a poem by one of my favorite Lithuanian writers, Paulius Širvys.
Of course it's Lithuanian, but I will try to translate it for you, I'm not really good at translating, so I have to say sorry in advance, because it's not my job, but it's so beautiful that I can not resist to share with you:)

goodbye Germany, high five!

And the day came to come back.
Goodbye Germany, high five!
You know, yesterday when we were in Munich (I promise to share the photos next week!) I understood how much I love doing stupid things (when I saw most of my photos), because I always laugh from stupid jokes (for example, this picture always makes me laugh:), I always tell stupid jokes mostly from movies or tv shows and if that wasn't enough, I'm the first to laugh at it.
But I can not change it, I'm too much enjoying it:) It's too deep in me (that's what she said, hahaha:).
Anyway, once again, one more goodbye, like the last time, remember?
Only now the goodbye is for coming back.
If it's possible to return. Is it? I don't know. But I'm going to find out.
I can't wait to go home!

P. S. hahaha:).

Have a fun weekend and see you in Lithuania,

Vilnius Temperature.

photo via Facebook
Have you heard about Vilnius Temperature? It is an amazing project for which I waited many many years!
It's an acoustic music video blog which unites city sounds and represents up and coming artists in Vilnius as a cinematographic background.
More information you can find on this TED video - the guy explains his idea and at the end there's a lovely song, I recommend you watching it!
Finally finally finally Lithuanian musicians are ready to get the attention of the world!
And what is more, with such a wonderful idea to combine the music, the weather and the city - how cool is that, ha?!
I'm really happy:)

P. S. you can become a fan on facebook to get all the news!

Inspiration Monday.

Today I start my last week in Nuremberg (not so successfully although) and I want to share a wonderful trailer from an upcoming movie Advanced Style, which will show up this summer! It is a documentary about stylish New York older ladies - the trailer is so cool!
I love the way a women says: lately I was hungry for colors!
I'm curious - do you sometimes feel hungry for colors?
I really do, especially when the winter blues come around - in Lithuania, actually too often. These kind of days when the sky is grey, the trees are grey, the grey mud everywhere - it is so depressing! So that is why I love - love - colors! And combining colors is one of the methods of excising creativity and it makes you feel better.
And what was funny about this video that actually only when I watched it twice, I noticed that the director's name is lithuanian!
Lina Plioplyte is a Lithuanian-born video maker based in New York city. She directs, films, and edits documentaries, music videos and fashion shorts (more information on her blog - here!).
So try to get the look that average person in the street would never wear and have a stylish week!

happy Valentine's.

My best friend once said to me one of the best quotes ever.
If you don't have whom to give your love, give it to your friends.
And that's a wonderful tip for life. What is good and shared is two times better, don't you think?
So today I want to share my love with you, because this afternoon my blog was complimented once again and I can not tell you, how much it means to me that someone reads it and appreciates it.
It gave me really a lot, because as I said, the math is easy here - good things that are shared magically doubles.
So that is why today I want to thank you - you, who now are reading this sentence!
And if you don't have to whom to give your love today, it doesn't matter, just:

everyone I've never got to know.

I've always depended on the kindness of strangers.
And I always always loved this quote.
It really happens to me often that completely strangers help me (even sometimes I don't even ask for help). And today I thought about every stranger, who helped me here, while staying in Nuremberg, or just said something nice and it is quite a list.
