Today European Basketball Championship 2011 begins!!! Did you know, that Lithuania is the heart of basketball? Check it out!
This spring I had an interview with Amber, the symbol of European Basketball Championship 2011! :)
And I really loved his thought that basketball in Lithuania means something more than a game. When the whole family sits on the sofa in front of the TV and when our team gets so decisive points, you all start to scream as loud as you can, your heart beats so strongly and you hear your neighbors behind the wall screaming even louder than you.. it's something you know from your childhood. It's somehow patriotic and I'd like to say holy.
Because at that moment every Lithuanian has given a chance for a hope.
